Wouldn’t it be nice to NOT be on yet another diet, or some new fad that you found out from a friend or some sort of liquid you put under your tongue, or limiting yourself to only 500 calories per day and giving all the credit of your alleged success to a program that cost you an arm and leg, when in reality you are just starving yourself and your body of essential nutrition?
Okay that may be a bit of a run on sentence but you get the idea right?
Well it’s the truth in my world of Xcellence and I am all about full expression and keeping my train moving forward.
So if you have been on my train for any amount of time, you likely have heard my say, “if you want a better life, then make better choices!” Well today is no different. The above video is something for the everyday person looking to tread water in a sea of mediocre choices out there when it comes to your health, wealth, and your nutrition.
The platform I stand upon is one that does not promote any fancy stuff. Stuff, meaning the abundance of MLM (mulit-level-marketing), gimmicks that don’t really work, complicated programs, or fads that flood the market and attract those who are always looking for the easy way, or something shiny to distract them from what’s really going on. Don’t get me wrong. I am NOT saying that the fancy stuff doesn’t work. I am saying that it doesn’t work for me.
Rather, the platform I stand upon is based on simple effective, science based research, coupled with experimenting with what truly works for YOU – the individual. For there is NO one-size-fits-all diet, program or system.
I am more of the old school type of guy, doing the work needed to achieve the desired results. That’s the bottom line. I am also the type of guy who will tell you to question everything, even if I am the one telling you something.
But I digress. Back to the video and my time at Red Robin with family.

- Order water instead of soda
- Stay away from the bread (or at least order gluten free bread) and get your order wrapped in lettuce.
- Judge less and love/laugh more
